Post war council estate behind Edgware Road. Easy to find with good directions from Oilna. Buzzed in and proceeded to red door. Sarah’s apartment was very small and in need a repair (or demolition!). Her room was small and sparsely furnished, no decoration, peeling paint, a thread-bare carpet and a lumpy bed. Not a great first impression. The bathroom was small and very uninviting - the bath taps were caked in lime scale, the tiles were chipped and the bathtub was stained. Felt dirtier after the shower than I did before!
